Evan Casey is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, and toolmaker. He is the founder of Cadmium, an AI-powered tool for hand drawn animation that has been used at animation studios such as Netflix and Toei animation. His research on applying machine learning to hand drawn animation has been published at NeurIPS and ICCV. He is currently a ML researcher at Studio Morphogen and previously has worked on applying machine learning to various domains such as neuroscience, robot learning, and recommendation systems. He hopes to build practical creative tools for structured visual modalities such as drawings and vector art.
