Quantum music pioneer Eduardo Reck Miranda worked as a research scientist for Sony CSL in Paris before moving to the University of Plymouth in the UK to create the Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music Research (ICCMR). He is Research Director at Moth, a British quantum technology company that is building the next era of music, gaming and the arts.
Eduardo is world-renowned for his work in Brain-Computer Interfaces and musical AI. He has composed for the BBC Concert Orchestra and London Sinfonietta. His opera, Lampedusa, which explores the theme of many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, was premiered by BBC Singers in 2019. His book, Quantum Computer Music, was published in 2022 by Springer.
