Chris Kerich

Chris Kerich is an artist, programmer, and scholar currently pursuing his PhD in Digital Media at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is focused on exploring how the systems and structures that govern software and technology impact people’s politics, thoughts, and lives. He works mainly through glitch and error, and is interested in how values and knowledge can be generated through breakdown as a methodology. His first gallery exhibition was  a selection from his piece Piles at the Vector festival in Toronto. Chris holds a masters in Comparative Media Studies from MIT.
