Nicholas Shaheed
Resident
Nicholas Shaheed is a composer, electronic musician, and software engineer. His music has been featured at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, the New Music Gathering, the Seoul International Computer Music Festival, and has been performed by So Percussion, Christopher Otto, and Quartetto Indaco. Recently, Nicholas’ creative practice has focused on interfacing with the exploration of timbre, motion, and color in recorded materials through the separation of the material from its representation context.
Nick is currently pursuing his PhD in Computer Based Music Theory and Acoustics at Stanford.
